Brianna N. Hunter is a filmmaker based on Long Island, NY. Brianna currently works as a camera operator and production assistant on local film productions on Long Island. She has just graduated from Five Towns College to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Recently she worked as a cinematographer for "Imaginary Friend," winning her the award for Best Cinematography at the Luminaries Film Festival in 2025. During her time at college, Brianna directed and edited the short experimental film "Testing Time" in 2023, which was selected by the Luminaries Film Festival and won Best Experimental Film. She has also directed and edited the short documentary film "Film Society" in 2023, which was selected and won Best Non-Fiction Film. Brianna has enjoyed storytelling since she was seven years old, starting out with flipbooks on the Nintendo DS. Sixteen years later, she now films on her Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and is currently building her body of work.
