About Sandy

A first-generation Chinese immigrant in Canada, Sandy holds a Master of Science degree. Since 2012, she has written under both her real name and the pen name Tong Ge. Her poetry, prose, and short stories have been published in North America, England, Mainland China, and Taiwan. Her works have won six literary prizes and been a finalist for seven others. Her debut novel, The House Filler (2023), has received significant acclaim. In her spare time, she enjoys ballroom dancing, horseback riding, reading, live theatre, swimming, traveling, investing, and exploring new interests.
