About Debbie
Debbie authored a Sunday column in the New Orleans Times-Picayune, was a US Embassy newsletter author/editor/publisher, events director, teenage lifeguard, military wife, dance teacher, and worked with several agencies to find bad guys.
Her stories and photos have been published in magazines and newspapers worldwide, and her first book, Coffee Cups & Wine Glasses, is slotted for feature-film pre-production with her first (award-winning) script.
She loves her family, friends, kayaking, skiing, hiking, her maker, dirt, her country, writing, and her truck.
Debbie has degrees and certificates for various obscure vocations, but her lifelong endeavor to become an accomplished juggler has not transpired - yet. Someday she will DOiT. (A “DOiT” is a humorous Thing in her book and the movie.)
Unique traits: Can't juggle, Can't sing, but I'm an award-winning bestselling author who skis, hikes, kayaks, jumps from airplanes, digs in the dirt, and shares good wine with people I like, or want to like.
