Manolo Mantero Tocino

Dr. Mantero is an Emmy Nominated VFX Supervisor with 25 years of experience in the film industry. His expertise has been showcased in more than 20 high-profile films.

His work on Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4 garnered him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Special Visual Effects.

Manolo also served as supervisor for the Oscar-winning film Dune: Part One (2021), which also earned a BAFTA for Best Visual Effects.

Additionally, he has contributed to films such as Alien Covenant, XMen Apocalypse, Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, The Predator, Men In Black International, Death on the Nile, and many more.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mantero has been recognized by his alma mater, the University of Wolverhampton, which honored him with a Doctor Honoris Causa in 2023 for his contributions to the arts .
