I’m the creator and owner of Behind the Curtain, a non-fiction TV series developed in collaboration with Voyage Media. Inspired by my personal journey of overcoming childhood domestic violence, addiction, and abandonment, the series explores the hidden struggles that shape us—and the resilience it takes to rise above them.

At the heart of the story is my mother, Josephine Carter, a dance teacher who left her children to live and work with a charismatic but controversial figure known as “the dancing priest.” Her departure—and the silence that followed—became a defining moment in my life and the emotional core of the series.

Behind the Curtain is fully developed with a written pilot script, series bible, and one-page summary, and is currently being positioned for production and distribution. While my book and speaking platform, Resilience: My Ultimate Superpower, continue to inspire audiences nationwide, this series brings that message to the screen in a raw, visual, and deeply human way.
