Konstantīns Ionovs

I’m a Latvian filmmaker and video artist, working across short fiction, music videos and emotional visual storytelling. I graduated from the Latvian Academy of Culture with a Master’s in Film Directing, and I currently work as a video producer at Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty.
Over the years, I’ve created several short films and music videos, including “Weird Pumping” (2024), selected at RIGA IFF, Azorean IFF and HanseFiSH in Germany. My work explores fragile emotional states and unspoken tension in relationships – I believe silence is often more powerful than words.
My current project “Mēness istaba” (“Moon Room”) is a psychological short drama in development, supported by a strong vision, minimalist aesthetics and personal experience.
I’m looking to connect with producers, collaborators, and partners interested in meaningful, artist-driven cinema. Ready for co-production, development labs, and festivals.
