My name is John Tolbert. I proudly served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman, an experience that shaped my discipline, resilience, and perspective on life. Today, I’m an actor, a soon-to-be published author, and a passionate writer with a deep love for storytelling and filmmaking.

I am the founder of 6120 Films, a film and television production company dedicated to powerful, immersive storytelling. My lifelong dream has been to create films that truly captivate audiences stories that not only entertain but pull people into new worlds and unforgettable experiences. At 6120 Films, our mission is to bring audiences into the heart of the story, making them feel like they’re not just watching a film but living it.

Since I was a kid, storytelling has been at the core of who I am. My grandmother once told me that I would become a writer, a storyteller, and a filmmaker and I’ve been chasing that dream ever since. My ultimate goal is to direct and produce films that move people, inspire connection, and bring passionate creators together. I want to work with the best in the business visionaries who share my passion for filmmaking and who believe in the power of great stories.
