Hello! My name is Godswill “Izu” Ekwunife, and I’m thrilled to be joining the vibrant and creative community here on Stage 32.
I’m an aspiring screenwriter, author, voice actor, and attorney based in Nigeria, with a deep passion for storytelling in all its forms.
I’m just getting started in the creative space, and I’m passionate about telling bold, authentic stories, especially those rooted in contemporary African life and culture. I believe there’s so much richness in our everyday experiences, and I’m excited to bring that to the screen. Grateful to be here on Stage 32 and looking forward to learning, growing, and collaborating with fellow creatives!
With a background in law and a growing portfolio in creative writing and voice work, I’m especially interested in stories that sit at the intersection of culture, identity, and social impact; stories that reflect both personal truths and broader realities. And I am big on expansive world-building types like the Mad Max franchise, so count me in on that too!
I’m excited to learn, grow, and collaborate with the many talented creators here. Whether it’s swapping ideas, building scripts, or lending my voice to a compelling character, I look forward to being part of this inspiring global network.
Thank you for the opportunity, and I can’t wait to connect!
