Michael Delano

Michael Thomas DeLano is an award winning director, writer, producer, and president of COTU Media. Raised in the desolate desert community of Rosamond, California. Michael developed an early love for visual expression and independence. At the helm of COTU Media Michael has forged lasting partnerships with diverse clients including Volkswagen, Lexus, Mazda, Honda, Acura, Omron, KUKA and ABB Robotics. Michael's short film Artifact brought home the "best horror short" prize at the Reel East Film Festival and honorable mention at the Santa Monica Film Festival. Michael's second film "Sunset Drive", a cinematic SCIFI Western is currently on a highly successful festival run with over 30 award wins and screenings in 23 festivals. Taking the helm as Executive Producer, COTU Media partnered with Crazy Carrot films in 2022 to produce their first feature film called “REFLECT” a metaphysical thriller. 2023 brought the opportunity for Michael to direct his first feature film, “On the Market” a romantic comedy set to be released in 2024. Michael just finished his newest feature script, “Bodie” a supernatural sci-fi action movie and is shopping for collaborators. Michael lives in Long Beach CA, drinks too much coffee and watches just enough movies.
