Change "occult professor Noah Longfellow" to "a _______ (the main flaw he has to overcome in the script or an adjective that describes his personality) occult professor*." Names in loglines are usually for biopics, well-known stories, and franchises (like Mission: Impossible), and an adjective will give the reader more insight into his character.

Tell what they're trying to stop the ancient evil from doing.
