About Kevin

Kevin Tavolaro and Kelly Tavolaro first met when FX artist Kelly
exploded a bad guy’s head for a feature film written by Kevin.

Now they write together, specializing in their own style of feel-good horror:
Fun, action-packed scripts that are equal parts bloody and wholesome.

Kevin’s previous feature film writing credits include Babysitter Must Die,
Hunting Ava Bravo, and Give Me Your Eyes (the latter two of which
landed on Amazon Prime’s International Top Ten). His TV work includes
Ancient Aliens, Wild West Chronicles, Blood Relatives, and
Ridley Scott’s Prophets of Science Fiction.

In addition to writing, Kelly’s credits as a creature creator and
makeup FX artist (as Kelly Donahue) include V/H/S/99, You’re Killing Me,
Sick (2022), The Chosen, and Yo Gabba Gabbaland!.

Kevin and Kelly's latest screenplay, The Kill Clause, is a horror comedy
with lots of heart and a few beheadings.
