About Matthew

I write and direct horror—arthouse to studio, always strange. My films live where grief curdles into rot, and reality blinks. I’ve premiered four times at Slamdance, including A Black Rift Begins to Yawn (2021), which took Honorable Mention in the Breakouts category. Maniac Landscapes was nominated for a Golden Gate Award at San Francisco International, and Plena Stellarum won Sun Valley’s Gem State Award. My debut feature, How the Sky Will Melt, became a cult VHS artifact and was one of the first films featured on NoBudge. I’m currently developing a slate of horror features and seeking reps, producers, and fellow travelers unafraid of the dark.
