Title: Looking for Love
Genre: Neo-Noir Romantic Crime Thriller
LOGLINE When a sadistic serial killer continues his ritualistic murders from inside prison through an obsessed fan, a brilliant but unstable detective must untangle their twisted relationship before they kill again.
SUMMARY In a city rotting beneath neon lights, cheap motel signs, and corrupt politicians, a string of ritualistic murders begins again — hearts carved into the chests of young women, each scene staged like a love letter gone wrong.
Detectives Gary Payne, a sharp yet volatile investigator, and Kayla Shepard, an ambitious but idealistic newcomer, are assigned to the case.
Their investigation leads them into the psyche of Sam Kelly Love, a notorious serial killer serving life in prison — a man as charismatic as he is monstrous.
When the murders start mirroring Love’s signature, Gary suspects a copycat. But as they dig deeper, the pattern reveals something far more intimate — a romance fed through letters, obsession, and blood.
Someone on the outside is killing for him.
And as the detectives descend further into the web of seduction and violence, they begin to realize that in this case, love isn’t blind — it’s lethal.
