But seriously, my BFA studies were in Communication Arts at New York Institute of Technology with an emphasis on Writing for TV and Film. I received my Certificate in Film from NYU after completing its Film Intensive. I had a PA traineeship at "Good Day New York" its first year on the air, but spent most of my professional life as a Human Resources Assistant in New York City for the overseas mission arm of the (LGBTQ-affirming) United Church of Christ. While there, I was appointed Entertainment Director for their corporate annual meetings. I also worked in the IT Department at Universal Studios Hollywood.

A lifelong amateur musician and former band geek, I was an assistant brass instructor for two area drum and bugle corps, one of which held the record for being the world's oldest continuously-active drum and bugle corps until its disbandment at age 100. I’ve also been a contributing writer for Drum Corps World magazine and was a contributing author of the book “A History of Drum and Bugle Corps, Volume 2.”

My primary project is a female-driven teen sports dramedy with an opportunity for a diverse cast, inspired not only by my life experience and friendships, but also by my years working with teens as a high school teaching assistant and substitute teacher, and as a group home counselor. I also spent (too much) time helping to raise other people's children.

I'm excited about connecting with Stage 32 and the prospect of it helping me in whatever capacity to achieve my goal of successfully marketing my screenplay RED FOXES, and to pitch an unrelated streaming series.

My life's goal has been to write projects appealing to a diverse audience, that put genuine good into the world. I'm hoping that Stage 32 can help me finally realize that dream!
