Hey, I'm Charlie Shrem. I co-founded BitInstant back in 2011, which, at its height, handled around 30% of global Bitcoin transactions. My crypto journey has been a wild ride, from shaping the early blockchain landscape and co-founding the Bitcoin Foundation to navigating personal setbacks that deepened my passion for storytelling, resilience, and redemption.
Over the years, I've expanded into film production, bringing compelling stories to life. My filmography includes executive producing features like Ask Me to Dance (2022), The Vance Institute (2023), McVeigh (2024), Dark Night of the Soul (2024, starring Martin Kove and Kristanna Loken), Break the Cycle (currently in post-production), and After All (also in post-production). I've also produced psychological thriller Trauma Therapy: Psychosis (2023).
Beyond film, I host "The Charlie Shrem Show," a podcast series exploring the minds and stories of crypto visionaries, tech innovators, and creative entrepreneurs—delivering more than 420 episodes and counting.
On Stage 32, I'm excited to connect with filmmakers, storytellers, and creatives who value authenticity and are interested in collaborating on projects that blend finance, technology, and compelling human narratives. I'm here to contribute my expertise in crypto history, executive production, storytelling, and leveraging my vast network to support projects that inspire and captivate audiences.
Let's create something memorable together!
