Chadd Stoops – Actor, Comedian, Filmmaker, and Visionary Storyteller

From a young age, storytelling and performance have been at the heart of my journey. At just eight years old, I was already staging backyard productions, captivated by the magic of bringing stories to life. By the age of 14, I had stepped onto the stand-up comedy stage, and by 15, I was performing in nightclubs, honing my craft in front of live audiences. My passion for acting and improvisation led me to study theater in college, setting the stage for a lifelong career in entertainment.

At 17, I ventured into filmmaking, and by 18, I was writing screenplays—driven by an unshakable desire to create meaningful, immersive cinematic experiences. Over the years, I have starred in feature films such as Surrogate Valentine and The Dirt Merchant Hitter Twist trilogy, continually pushing myself as an artist and storyteller.

Today, I helm two production companies: One Good Film Films LLC and Louder Than Word Productions. Through these companies, I am committed to crafting exceptional, faith-based films that inspire, entertain, and challenge audiences. My most recent short film, The Precipice, serves as a proof of concept for my upcoming feature, Louder Than Words, a project that embodies my vision of storytelling that blurs the lines between fiction and reality in an unprecedented way.

Currently, I am seeking funding for Louder Than Words, a groundbreaking $2.8M feature film that has already secured $200K. This film is more than just a movie—it’s a once-in-a-generation cinematic event. For the first time in film history, we are creating a fully scripted story starring the real people who inspired it. This is not a documentary but an innovative narrative experience infused with nostalgia, adventure, comedy, and high-stakes drama.

At the core of Louder Than Words is a deeply relatable journey: seven former college students reunite to complete a film they started 25 years ago. Their real-life experiences provide authenticity and depth, delivering a cinematic experience that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. This project is about second chances, friendship, and the enduring power of storytelling.
