Imola Orbán

Hi there,
My name is Imola, a teenager who want to be a professional movie maker! I'm from Hungary. I'm a 14 years old girl with autism (Asperger's syndrome) and ADHD. I'm currently improving my English, I write many lines here with a translator, sorry for the mistakes. I'm currently studying at a vocational high school, but there are no arts.
I have never worked on a film (-short, -amateur, etc.) either as a member of the crew or as an actor. I would like to get into the movie industry on my own. I don't come from a famous/rich/influential family, no famous relatives and/or friends. That's why I registered here. To learn about filmmaking, to make contacts among professionals. And to realise my dream as soon as possible: to become a director, screenwriter, writer and later a producer. All this without any significant help from my parents. I hope that if I achieve these before I turn 20's, I will be an inspiration to other teens, children, and other people with autism/Asperger's syndrome/ADHD/Tourette syndrome/OCD/etc.)
My interests in motion picture:
-- My favorite studios/entertaintments are Paramount Pictures, HBO/MAX, Warner Bros., Universal Pictures, and 20th Century Studios. I hope to work with at least one of them one day.
-- I'm interested in mixing genres, tropes, and styles, and breaking genre rules. Don't be surprised if a future film of mine is both a sci-fi dystopian thriller/sci-fi social critique and a jukebox musical film with songs by ABBA and The Beatles, or if I will make a jukebox musical film about the Little League World Series with Eurovision songs.
-- In my future films, I want to portray teenage characters with teenage actors. To support young talent and to give teenage viewers a healthy view of their own age group.
-- I'm interested in less used topics such as generation spacecraft, the creation of space colonies on places like the moons of the solar system, colonies orbiting in space, Alaskan Native culture, Native Hawaiian culture, etc.
-- I'm interested in making book adaptations. One of the reasons why I'm going to become a director-producer-screenwriter-writer, is because I would like to make a musical film based on one of my favourite YA sci-fi books, featuring songs by ABBA, Ace of Base, and The Beatles.
-- I would like to go to college to study special education, more specifically psycho-pedagogy, so that when I grow-up, I can teach workshops and camps on filmmaking for children and young people with autism, Asperger's syndrome, ADHD.
-- My favorite actors/actresses: Jim Carrey, Amanda Seyfried, Meryl Streep, etc.
