About Julie

My name is Julie - and I first had the idea for the Little Odds way back in the mid-eighties when I was a reporter on some movie magazines in London - but the story never seemed to take form. Then in 2011, I initially wrote the story as a trilogy, which was published in 2024. However, when writing it, in my mind's eye, it was always as if it really wanted to be an animated film when it grew up. Now, with the incredible advances in AI, I think that might just be possible. My Little Odds are like family - I had such great fun writing the story. I've drafted a script which is a work in progress, and now my job is to turn that into some sort of reality. I'm delighted to join the Stage 32 community to listen, learn and educate myself - and of course to connect with others.
