About Thorsten

Thorsten Kramer was born on May 15th, 1980 in Dortmund. He studied acting for 3 years and took additional modules for director and assistant director. Based on this, he completed further training in the field of "cameraacting for professionals" at the "mfa - mallorca film academy" (today: münchen film academy). Then he played in various roles for series such as "The Country Doctor" (ZDF), "Family Dr. Kleist ”(ARD) and one of the most well-known police call 110 episodes “Death in the Ball House" (all with star cast). With his debut cinema short film "A Dream for Two" he made the leap across the pond in 2012 with a placement as a finalist at "Hollywood’s international Feel Good Film Festival", whose world premiere took place in front of a sold-out house. A short time later, the now award-winning film production company Sartorius-FILM was founded with the aim of realizing both our own film projects and commissioned projects. Our motto: We are different!

For us, success comes with vision, creativity, courage and commitment.

In 2019, he produced the anti-bullying-drama “WHY? YOU CAN BE THE NEXT ONE!”, which has since become one of Germany’s most award-winning film productions, having received over 80 international film awards.
