Allen Mummert

Allen is a novelist and screenwriter from Philadelphia, PA, with an undying passion for story. To build a sustainable career that enriches the relationships between all parties involved in a project, Allen studied transmedia story development under the tutelage of world-renowned studio consultant John Truby.

In addition to applying his business leadership experience with his background in psychology and philosophy to offer a uniquely humanistic approach to storytelling, he presents a genre-diverse portfolio with works across several mediums. His current body of work showcases his specialty in science-fiction, detective, and horror while expressing his adaptability and curiosity for expansion.

Continually striving to better his craft, Allen remains a longstanding member of Truby's Writers Studio, where he works alongside other writers to develop novels, feature screenplays, and television pilots. He's also a student at the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts, where he continues his academic work in screenwriting and Vedic Science.
