“My name is Haliz Mustafa, and I am an author and storyteller from Iraq. I believe that writing is my way of building bridges between cultures and human emotions, and my goal is to give a voice to those who often go unheard.

My latest book is inspired by my personal experience as a mother of a child with Down syndrome. It sheds light on the challenges and triumphs faced by families raising children with special needs. The story carries a message of hope and empathy, showcasing the power of love and patience in overcoming life’s struggles.

I aspire to transform this work into an impactful film that inspires a global audience and highlights a unique perspective on humanity.
