Mateus Valladão

Hey there! My name is Mateus Valladão.
I am a brazilian filmmaker and screenwriter based in Rio, with a background in filmschool and extensive experience in gerrilla video production. I speak Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently.
Currently, my focus is on screenwriting, with a particular interest for comedy, documentaries, series and publicity. My background in guerrilla filmmaking allows me to write about almost anything. Here in Rio de Janeiro we're used to being creative with limited resources and I've found out that great writing is the key to make a great story come to life, no matter the restraints.
I work well under pressure and do my very best to translate my client's ideas into writing.
I’m looking for being a part of diverse projects, especially those that allow for creativity and humor, as well as stories that highlight real-world subjects through documentary-style storytelling.
