SHOOTING WITHOUT EDITING
By Abdusamad Shafiev

GENRE: Other, Drama
LOGLINE:

When Anton, a student struggling with depression, notices hidden cameras in the Mafia game, he and the mysterious Victoria begin to suspect that their lives are part of an experiment created by two programming students who themselves do not suspect that their reality is just a scenario for a higher mind.

SYNOPSIS:

Anton, 21, is struggling with an addiction to antidepressants and gets caught up in a suspicious Mafia game in a dorm. Noticing that all the participants behave like actors, and the surveillance cameras record every movement, he begins to doubt the reality of what is happening. Together with Victoria, a girl who also sees the cameras, he tries to expose the source of the surveillance.

It turns out that behind the scenes, students Misha and Dasha control the game using experimental AI created on the basis of ChatGPT v.10.3. However, the system gets out of control: the characters begin to realize their artificiality, and reality is distorted. When Anton and Victoria encounter "holes" in space, the programmers realize that their code has become a reflection of their own fears and addictions.

In the finale, it turns out that even Misha and Dasha are part of a larger experiment, and their reality is controlled by an invisible observer quoting the Bible. The script closes, showing an endless cycle of illusions.: Who is the hero, and who is just a line of code?

Topics: reality vs virtuality, dependence on technology, crisis of self-awareness, struggle with inner demons.

Atmosphere: a psychological thriller with elements of mysticism and meta-humor, where the boundaries between acting, cinema and life are blurred.
