Kris Shuman is a screenwriter and radio host from Savannah, Georgia, known for writing gritty, character-driven dramas rooted in Southern culture and personal truth. Influenced by a family legacy of storytelling — especially his grandmother — Kris creates narratives that dig into the emotional complexities behind small-town life.

In April 2025, his television pilot What’s Buried Beneath the Pines entered a six-month exclusive shopping agreement with producer Alixx Schottland (Over the Rainbow Entertainment), with legal packaging and submission support from Ramo Law. The script has already earned finalist placement on the 2025 Grey List and landed in the 96th percentile on WeScreenplay.

As the creator and host of The Shuman Show (2024–present), Kris leads conversations with guests across creative, cultural, and human rights spaces, exploring themes of resilience, identity, and transformation. He previously hosted RPRD Podcast (2020–2023), focused on recovery and community impact.
