Tara Whitehead

I am a writer, producer, and film professor who received her BA in Cinema-Television Production from University of Southern California. I have served as a DGA assistant director for hourlong drama television and in executive support roles on shows like The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men. My passion is for indie filmmaking, and I am currently assisting in development on a documentary while preparing to go on sub with the feature film adaptation of my second book, They More Than Burned.

I am the author of three books and am Assistant Professor of Film, Video, and Digital Media at Messiah University in Pennsylvania.
