About Nitin

Born in India, I grew up in Mumbai and lived in Australia and Singapore before moving to United States in 1999. Since childhood, I had keen interest in arts, science, spiritual secrets and film making. In 2007 I co-produced produced my first feature film 'Prayer Life’. It was well received in film festival circuit. In 2010, I directed documentary feature 'Kundalini'. the energy of Consciousness. In 2015 I directed and co-produced feature film 'Partu' that won Filmfare award and many accolades in film festival circuit. It had wide release in India and a limited release in USA. my latest directed short film 'Dear Pra' has been making marks in film festivals. Currently I am in development stage of a feature film to be shot in India and USA. Joining the community of Stage 32 to network and establish meaningful professional and creative relationships.

Partu (2014 - 2015)
Film by EastWest Films Director and Screenwriter In 1968, MUMBAI city, a seven-year-old Rajasthani boy PRITHVI arrives from RAJASTHAN with his uncle PREM SINGH to enjoy the Mumbai attractions. After two weeks of stay, during his departure back to Rajasthan, he gets separated from his uncle in a crowded MUMBAI train station and not knowing the way back, he boards wrong train and actually ends on a train station called AHMEDNAGAR about 200 miles from MUMBAI. A poor Marathi farmer named LAKSHMAN finds PRITHVI. He and his family welcome PRITHVI into their home.
