To save his girlfriend from an aneurysm, a photographer buys her life at the cost of memories, erasing their shared past and forcing him to choose between survival and love.
SYNOPSIS:
Leo Martin, a young photographer, becomes trapped in a desperate fight against time when his girlfriend, Maya, begins dying from a fatal neurological condition. After Maya mysteriously returns from the brink of death, Leo discovers that his vintage Polaroid camera possesses a supernatural power — every photograph keeps Maya alive, but at the cost of erasing pieces of their shared past.
As Leo grows increasingly obsessed with saving her, the memories that define their relationship begin to disappear one by one, forcing him toward an impossible choice: preserve Maya’s life, or save the love that once gave it meaning.

Gamarjoba :-) Neat concept! I think your logline would benefit if you add a little more info: Why does the woman need to be saved? (What must your protagonist save her from?) The conflict that comes when she no longer recognises him can also be clarified - does your protagonist have to figure out how to make her recognise him again? How does the polaroid become relevant to this struggle? I think if you add these bits of info, you'll have a very strong summary.

Thank you so much for this incredible feedback! You are completely right. I think I rushed the logline a bit and left out some of the most crucial elements that give the story its emotional stakes.
Your questions are spot-on. The urgency of why she needs to be saved and how the Polaroid photo acts as the key to her fragmented memory are exactly what makes the conflict work. I realized that by trying to keep it too short, I missed showing the core of the struggle.I'm currently refining the logline based on your suggestions to clarify these points. I'd love to share the updated and stronger version with you in a bit. Thanks again for taking the time to help me improve it!Rated this logline

Kakha Beridze My pleasure. I often have the opposite challenge as I write very long loglines and have to put a lot of effort into making them shorter, haha. It can be hard to find the balance. Your current edits already add a lot of intrigue - it's definitely a film I'd watch!

Rather than simply rating this synopsis, I would love to discuss it further. Transforming this concept into a full screenplay would be a profound challenge. Capturing the subtle nuances—the fading romantic memories, the physiological recovery after each photo, Leo’s visceral reactions, and the overall atmospheric tone—are elements that would be difficult to portray on screen. However, it is precisely within these challenges that the story’s immense creativity shines through.
Mohammad Ali RANJBAR Hi Mohammad, Thanks for your insightful feedback. You’ve hit the nail on the head—those subtle nuances are exactly what I found most challenging and compelling while writing this story. I have already completed the screenplay and am currently in the process of 'polishing' those specific scenes. Balancing the physiological aspects with Leo’s visceral reactions and the overall atmosphere is exactly where I am focusing my efforts right now. Since you seem to have a sharp eye for these details, I’d be interested to hear your perspective on how you would translate these elements effectively to the screen. Your feedback would be invaluable during this refinement stage. I’m glad you see the creative potential in these challenges. Let’s discuss it further.
