Max Decamps

I am a young Director of Photography, graduated from the prestigious École Louis Lumière just a year ago. Since completing my studies, I have been working on a variety of projects, ranging from short films to more experimental works, where I strive to bring a unique and thoughtful visual language to every frame.

I am a proud member of the Union of Cinematographers (UCO), which allows me to connect with other industry professionals and stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in the field of cinematography.

My work is deeply focused on the play of light, the art of optical blur, and the choice of depth of field. I believe that the careful manipulation of these elements can add a rich layer of meaning to the narrative, enhancing the emotional and visual storytelling. I approach each project with a commitment to creating images that are not only beautiful but also purposeful, using the camera to serve the story in the most compelling way possible.
