About Melanie
I have adapted my award-winning young adult novel Spoken as a screenplay and it has received recognition from the Chicago Script Awards and the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival. My multicultural family drama, Kids Today, has received recognition as well. I am looking for representation to help me sell my two amazing screenplays as well as work with me on additional projects I am developing. One project close to completion is my animated feature, One Big Family. All my projects have a social issues message that resonates with teens and adults. My storylines are original, exciting and engaging.
