About Loretta

I’m an only child born in San Francisco. I’ve been writing since I was 14 years old. I became interested in writing after writing my first play at that age. I later received an award for one of my poems. After high school I went to broadcasting school. Upon graduating I went to work as an intern at KBLX in Berkeley, California. There I pull and rewrote wire news copy and promotional material. Later I went on to write and produce commercials for a FOX network channel, KTVU Channel Two in Jack London Square in Oakland, California. From there I discovered that I love writing stories so I took online courses and also enrolled in Los Angeles Film school. I also got a chance to work on local film projects as a casting person, locations manager, producer, and host. Currently, I'm working on a feature film that I've written, also working to pitch it to distributors along with my director of the film.
