Nedda Sarshar

Nedda Sarshar is a writer and director based out of Toronto, Ontario. Her Oscar-qualified short film Unibrow was the Jury Prize winner at the New York International Children's Film Festival in 2024. Her other short film, Rachel and Raha, premiered at the Canadian Film Fest and won BEST LGBT Short at the Toronto Shorts Film Festival. Her writing has been featured in The Rumpus and on Best Canadian Poetry. She loves writing about diasporas, identity crisis', and star-crossed lovers.
