Carroll Harris III

Carroll Harris brings over 35 years of leadership and life experience rooted in sworn, armed public service. A proud veteran, Carroll served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1990 to 2020, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after a distinguished career marked by duty, resilience, and leadership.

From 2004 to 2008, he served as a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), conducting complex investigations and working alongside domestic and international partners. In 2008, Carroll transitioned to the United States Postal Inspection Service, where he served as the Inspector in Charge of the Los Angeles Division. Carroll retired from federal service in 2025, concluding a remarkable 35-year journey dedicated to protecting and empowering others.

Beyond retirement, Carroll continues his lifelong commitment to service by advocating for veterans and first responders, and contributing to the arts. He is an active supporter of Veterans in Media and Entertainment (VME) and the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP), organizations dedicated to empowering veterans through storytelling and creative expression. Carroll is also a proud member of Hollywood Post 43 of The American Legion, a vibrant community of creative individuals united by service and a passion for the arts.

His work today reflects a deep belief in leadership, creativity, and the enduring power of service to uplift communities and inspire change.
