ELLIS J. KELSEY is a screenwriter from the suburbs of Philadelphia who writes. He writes both high-concept genre material—as well as character-driven, truer-than-life historical dramas. He finds himself writing about finding meaning in our fragmented post-truth world. His hourlong TV pilot THE LADY WHO SLIPPED ON THE ICE has appeared on Coverfly’s Red List and was a finalist in Los Angeles 2022 Screenplay Awards. He lives in Los Angeles and is working on his debut short film which parodies shows like BLACK MIRROR. He has a two year-old beagle named Vern who runs his life.
