A toy bear vows to save his human from the Bogeyman

SYNOPSIS:

SUPER BEAR

Lucy Bates is a little girl who has a stuffed teddy bear and gave it a magic cape and named it Super Bear and becomes her favorite toy. A few nights she had been getting scared of what appeared to be a Bogeyman in her closet, and Super Bear and some of the other toys notice this and they help in boarding up the closet, Super Bear believes he has powers, and his cape is magic and makes him brave. Then one night the Bogeyman is able to kidnap Lucy and Super Bear is to late to stop him but decides to follow the Bogeyman to his domain to save her. A wise old turtle gives him an envelope and tells him it holds the secret of his power, and his cape.

Super Bear enters and follows a trail and sneaks past monster bodyguards but ends up fighting a few of them and outwits them and defeats them easily through outsmarting them and fooling them. The Bogeyman finds out about Super Bear, confronts him, and ruins his cape revealing it’s just an ordinary cape and nothing magic about it and mocks him that there is nothing he can do to save Lucy. Broken and afraid Super Bear gives up and sadly walks away mocked by the Bogeyman, running into the turtle he tells him about the envelope and it’s a picture of Lucy and Super Bear, and a little mirror. The Turtle reveals he never needed the cape the secret of his power and bravely was inside all along, and his love for Lucy. Super Bear realizes this and that he is Super Bear and returns to face the Bogeyman.

Stopping the Bogeyman before he hurts Lucy he sends his monster after him, but he holds his own and when the Bogeyman mocks him about not having any powers he only responds he already is Super Bear, his toy friends arrive and help him. They fight and Super Bear defeats the Bogeyman and then tells his monster to never return to any child’s room. Then toys get Lucy home, but Super Bear seems to be frozen and lifeless, but then Lucy hugs him and tells Super Bear she loves him, and he silently says I love you to. She looks back as if she heard something then returns downstairs while Super Bear smiles like a superhero.
