A Die Hard Scenario where a dog must save his family from villains. 

SYNOPSIS:

DOG HARD

The Gates family are a hard-working family, then one day their kids Mitchell, Karen and Bryn find a lost dog named Rex who they take in and take to their work in a skyscraper owned by the parents Will and Sarah employers. Rex is left home but Bryn secretly brings him, and he hides in their office. Then a group of terrorists led by Dent Carsell take over and Rex seeing his family endanger immediately goes to into action and finds a way to contact police, but Carsell is able to send them off, and orders a few of his men to check it out.

One member named Wade finds Rex and gives chase and is when he corners him in an elevator but tricks him and he falls to his death. Wade is found and Carsell informs his second in command and Wade’s brother Anton who vows to kill him. Rex continues to send alerts to the police who finally investigate when they send Officer James Benn to check it out and when he arrives Rex tricks a terrorist into falling off the building and is killed and James calls for backup.

Despite Carswell using his men to take out the cops Rex causes a power outage for the terrorist and they realize it has been a dog, the Gates realize Rex is fighting the terrorist and keep silent while the police outside maneuver their next move.

Carsell finally makes it into the vault and as they steal money Carswell sends his men to kill the hostages but Rex is able to remove a bomb to show them and they escape while Carsell finds out Rex is and the Gates and takes the kids hostage while Rex finds Will and Sarah notifies the police and they head to the main vault where Carsell is holding the kids and Rex and Will confronts him. Rex takes the bullet as he pounces as Carsell and as Carsell tries to open fire he is shot and killed by James.

Rex is taken to a vet where he heals, survives, and returns home.
