I mention, in my Bio, that I also paint in Oils ...so it is relevant that I put this here for two reasons. Reason One is that this is the most recent portrait that I have painted. Reason Two is that the title is 'Susan McEwen, as Lucy Westenra, on the set of Dracula'. This image developed as a result of the filming of a scene of Donald McEwen's Musical Adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Donald McEwen is shown in the background (top left) in the role of Dracula. As the artist, I also included a 'hidden' self-portrait of me as Dr John Seward. :) (It is not compulsory to go looking for the male nude ...or the embarrassed angel ...or the bleeding rose. :0)
