David Sexta

A native of Yerevan, Armenia, David Sexta began his career at age ten, in flute class. He played in several bands & made his musical debut on bass guitar. His subsequent performances as a singer, songwriter and solo guitarist as well as his powerful presence on stage brought him to the audience’s rapt attention.

In 1992 David moved to Hamburg, Germany, where he lives with his family. David`s come back was with his songs and his video directorial debut was the highly acclaimed “Happy New Year!” single. David completed his tribute to John Lennon & Yoko Ono and released the cover song “Imagine”. He then released his third song, “Ice Woman- I & II”. After his successful debut David performed on several stages in Europe.

In 2021, David shot his first short film “Fatal Error.” He then directed “Life Line“ about platonic love. His short film, “Better Love” premiered in Germany on September 24, 2022 and in New York on November 10, 2022. “Better Love” was nominated as best international short movie in the New York Short Film Festival, Best Short Compatition & Chandler International Film Festival in the cathegories: Best Short Movie, Best Trailer & Best Director. He also wrote the script and produced the soundtrack “White Clouds” to this film.
