When two siblings accidentally activate a mysterious steam-powered telescope and are hurled into space, they discover they are heirs to a fallen interplanetary throne and must confront a ruthless Martian invader bent on total conquest.

Personal connection: I was working on a project when my 8-year-old daughter came down the stairs and asked, “Daddy, what would happen if a boy and girl rescued their daddy on another planet?” I put down what I was working on and found out. Now, it’s a massive world-building project.
