John Hart

John was adopted from Korea at the age of 4 months old. Up until the time he was 4 YEARS old he didn't make any noise nor did he respond to noises. His older sister who played in the school orchestra had a concert one night and being that he didn't make any noise to begin with they decided to bring him along. That night, they played Ravel's famous piece-Bolero. Afterwards, John made noise for the first time as he hummed the entire 8 and a half minute piece back verbatim. A week later, he was enrolled in Western Illinois University's music program in violin and piano. The rest as they say is history.

"Music gave me a reason to communicate. It quite literally gave me my voice and I would much rather pursue a life dedicated to the polishing and mastering of that craft than anything else."
