About Salma

Salma Hassaballa is a bilingual writer (Arabic/English) with 14 published books spanning psychological thrillers, romance, and social fiction. Her work explores identity, human psychology, and cultural conflicts through vibrant characters, intricate plots, and jaw-dropping twists.

Two of her novels have been optioned for TV drama, including Adam’s Game, acquired by leading production company Art Production–Sabah Brothers. She has also produced two English-language documentaries — one of which, Do You Believe?, won gold at the Everglades Film Festival and was nominated at the Swansea Film Festival in the UK.

Salma’s creative work spans fiction, nonfiction, articles, and songwriting in both Arabic and English. She is also a proud member of the Egyptian Writers Union.

Salma believes storytelling is the most powerful way to connect people across borders — using fiction, film, and music to explore what it truly means to live, grow, and understand one another.
