Film (short) by Donnie Kemp (Drama) Producer Love Ruth". Based off a true story of the book of Ruth in the bible, but with a parallel twist in the story. A Romantic drama short film broken up into a 3 to 4 part series. Love Ruth is about a young lady who travels to another town with her mother-in-law Naomi, two years after the death of her husband, to take over a café and move where cost of leaving is more affordable. While working the café mostly by herself, Ruth tries to manage a business while being judged and taunted by Naomi's home town people. Focused on helping Naomi's café, Ruth finds herself falling for a very wealthy man and owner of the property she works. In order to move on,not only to her desired career but also the man she is falling for, she will have to learn to let go of everything that is holding her back, which will be difficult, from fault of series of unfortunate events.
