Based on 'Kwaidan' and Japanese folktales and legends - a peasant embarks on quest to find to wife who he discovers is a Yuki-Onna (an ice vampire). He encounters bandits, zombies, a sea-monster, an evil wizard and a ghostly monk - with a few more surprises along the way.
SYNOPSIS:
Also inspired by the 'Mr Vampire' and 'A Chinese Ghost Story' comedy horror films from the 1980's, with nods to these towards the end.

If you just allow me a humble suggestion for the logline, 'When a peasant embarks on quest to find a wife who he discovers is a Yuki-Onna (ice vampire), he encounters bandits, zombies, a sea-monster, an evil wizard, a ghostly monk, and other surprises that will turn his journey into a living nightmare.'
