Introduce Yourself : I love creating stories. by Tom Stohlgren

Tom Stohlgren

I love creating stories.

I’ve been a contributing member of Stage 32 since January 2016. I love Coffee and Content every Sunday. I’m a tireless writer trying to improve every day. My 99th feature script, a dark comedy, “The Robin Hoods,” resurrects teenage heroes who steal from the rich and give to the poor. Thanks for your feedback on longlines, synopses, and scripts. I’m represented by Eleni Larchanidou, LL.M., Literary&Talent Manager, who found me on Stage 32. I especially love connecting with producers. Cheers, Tom

Almost at 100, Tom Stohlgren! I like that you not only put a modern twist on Robin Hood, you made it a group of Robin Hoods.

Tom Stohlgren

Thanks, Maurice Vaughan! Your support is always there!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Tom Stohlgren. Robin Hood is in the public domain, right?

Jon Shallit

How do you work with Eleni? Has she found you paid work? She seems remarkable!

Richard "RB" Botto

Ashley Renee Smith I registered for AMA with RB, thanks for the reminder. It's hard for me to break free of the keyboard.

Maurice Vaughan yes, as far as I can tell. He's a fictional character from multiple sources, and evolving over the years into dozens of TV and movies (i.e., it's hard to pin down the original IP of a shape-shifting legend. ha!

I thought so, Tom Stohlgren. I wrote a short story based off Humpty Dumpty. It was called Humpty's Revenge. I've been thinking about writing a script based off a public domain character.

Nick Phillips

Only 99 Tom Stohlgren?? : ) Any ideas for what the Big 100th script is going to be?

Mark Deuce

Me too Tom Stohlgren and great to meet you.

Tom Stohlgren

Nick Phillips, I'm doing the research and outlining for script #100 as we speak. It's a process.

Nick Phillips

Excellent, so glad to hear that Tom Stohlgren!

Karen "Kay" Ross
