My husband and I have written and produced musicals for the stage and now we are segueing into film. We produced a half-hour TV pilot and plan to film the next six episodes in a limited TV series. Distribution, anyone?
"Mendel's Messiah" is a Gospel musical with a "Fiddler on The Roof" flavor, winner of a Bronze Halo Award from The Southern California Motion Council when it was first produced under the title of "Rabboni," in 1981. Produced off-Broadway in NYC in 1985 at The Perry Street Theater.
Congratulations to you, your husband, and everyone who worked on "Mendel's Messiah" for winning a Bronze Halo Award, Wendy Ginsberg!
A Gospel musical sounds interesting. Are you looking for distribution advice and resources for the limited TV series? If so, Stage 32 has a Distribution Lounge, Blogs, and Education.

Love it Wendy Ginsberg. Fiddler on the Roof brings back some memories. It was my father's favorite play. I would watch "Mendel's Messiah".
