Thank you all for having me! I’m an aspiring screenwriter out of Windsor, ON looking to finally break in, network, collaborate and just celebrate the art of writing and the success stories from it.
I have a B.A. of Film Studies from Arizona State University and served as a film critic for WLIO-TV in Lima, Ohio. I also served as an Executive Director and curator of two film festivals in the Lima, Ohio region-even flying out to L.A. to conduct the final interview for comedy legend, Phyllis Diller while presenting her with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The films that inspire me: The Godfather, Malcolm X, Midsommer, Seven Samurai, Get Out, The Seventh Seal, The Dark Knight, and The Exorcist.
I have written several feature and short drafts ready to be workshopped. While I believe I can be flexible in any genre, I tend to find my morbid self gravitating towards horror and thrillers. As BIPOC and someone who suffers from Bipolar Disorder, I believe it is important to use my voice and experiences to shed light on these issues.
Thank you again for having me! I hope to foster several meaningful relationships and have many opportunities to grow as a writer and launch a career!
Lenny ❤️

Hey, Len Archibald. Welcome to the community. Here's a blog that'll help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with other creatives and industry pros: www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...

Get Out is one of my favorite movies. I have to really focus when I watch Jordan Peele's movies because he puts a lot of symbolism in them.

OMG I NEED THAT MUG! LOL And then I need to take a selfie with my favorite mug "Embrace the Chaos" LOL So... I take it you like to write horror based on your inspiration? I wish I could say I do, too, but I prefer RomComs, second only to Action/Comedies and thrillers. I'm currently watching Beverly Hills Cop, one of my childhood favorites.

@Maurice Vaughn - thank you for having me! I have been going over the links so I can understand how to navigate. It is a little overwhelming now, but I will get used to it!
Just dropped my first two loglines in the Your Stage group. Hoping to workshop and collaborate. I am not just trying to find like-minded individuals, but mentors who are serious about guiding me as much as I am serious about being guided. I get we as creatives all have a little ego, but I want to be the best writier I can be - I will never complain if someone throws a bunch of red ink at any of my screenplays. Thanks all! Hope to better connect with all of you!
