Trying to bridge the gap between Film makers and custom music

Hello every one, I'm Brian aka Dj Kode Red, I'm a film composer from Detroit, MI. I wanted to introduce myself to this huge internet world and talk with whoever is out there listening. Most of my samples are on my page and my website but if you have any questions lets chat. I'm super friendly and I am super interested in the film world. Love you all and talk to you soon

Maurice Vaughan

Nice to meet you, Brian Williams. That's a cool DJ name! I checked out your YouTube channel. I like your music! My favorites are "Motivation" and "Graduation." I'm gonna check out more of your music.

Matthew Parvin

Welcome Brian! Nice to meet you. Glad you're here.

Sam Sokolow

Its great to meet you here in the community, Brian Williams. What are you working on right now that you're excited about? And how does your work as a DJ inform your film composing work?

Maurice Vaughan It's truly a blessing when someone listens to my music and enjoys listening to it. It makes my heart warm. So I thank you for that. You have made my day. I saw your video as well about how grateful you are to be apart of this community we should exchange notes sometime

Brian Williams

Matthew Parvin Thank you. Nice to see another person from Michigan

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Brian Williams. Thanks for watching my video. I've had a lot of success on Stage 32. Most of it came from building relationships/networking. Yeah, let's exchange notes sometime.

Brian Williams

Sam Sokolow Thanks for asking, Right now I'm currently working on new music that can be used for Tv and Film productions, which requires me to stay up to date with the current music sync trends so I can tailor my sounds to what people are actually requesting, I'm always networking with people (this is always exciting) all while keeping the record label up and running so clients can come in and get custom songs delivered in a timely manner. As far as my Dj-ing I haven't spun records in forever there is no real correlation between the two, I stopped the Dj business to pursue music production but people in the music industry still knew me from being a Dj so I just kept the name. Why do you ask?

Brian Williams

Linwood Bell Thank you. I watched your Black Veil Bidges video. What part did you write for them? That seem interesting, I'd love to hear the story behind that if you don't mind sharing

Brian Williams

Charlotte Talley Nice to meet you as well thank for stopping by

Brian Williams

Dustin Richardson Thank you I was able to take a look at some of your visual snow content and man that seems challenging to have that kind of sight. You are a great story teller and I learned a lot thank for sharing

Linwood Bell

Brian Williams I arranged/wrote all the stuff for the youth orchestra playing behind them. The orchestra was there for the group, but they'ed never played with a orchestra before so they didn't have any charts for them. I did it for several bands that night. It was a fun gig. To be honest, I didn't know who any of them were. lol

Dustin Richardson

Thanks, Brian Williams. I appreciate that.
