Hi All, great to see everyone at this Introduce Yourself Weekend!
Looking to connect and would love to see what you are working on.
My name is David Zannoni and I am a regular contributor for Stage 32. I also represent Freeway Entertainment (provider of Collection Account Management and Escrow services), the Mexican Chamber of the Film Industry in Quintana Roo (Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum) and I run my consultancy firm Zannoni Media.
I also executive produce two amazing projects for Balassa Films in Mexico, "Chopin" and "Dear Eszter".
Best regards,
David

Great to see you at IYW too, David Zannoni. I've been working on spec projects and networking. Are you working on any projects right now?

Hi David, it's great to see you on the IYW. I have a couple of projects on the go at the moment. A feature length a script is in development (a slow process of ever there was one!) and I'm also writing and scheming the big universe for an animated fantasy series. Writing/revising the pilot script and also I'm in the early stages of producing material for a crowdsourcing and crowdfunding campaign, to finance a proof of concept episode or trailer for the series. Maybe on Seed & Spark, but I'm not sure yet.

The man, the myth, the legend. How are you, my brother? What's new? See you in Venice?

Hi David, I recently joined after publishing my Memoir: God, the Mafia, My Dad, and Me. I've been working on how far I can take my story:)

Hey Maurice! What sort of projects are you working on? I do my “usual” collection account management & escrow. As Freeway we will start doing production accounting as well, as of this Q4, in Hungary. On a personal level, working on getting “Chopin” and “Dear Eszter” together. In the Mexican Caribbean, working on our Film Law.

Hey RB! No Venice for me, unfortunately. Are you going? Next stop for me is TIFF.

Hi David! Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Tulum are such magical places - while I was there, always felt inspired to create. Currently I'm working on my 1-hr drama pilot rewrite, and a new feature outline. Both have to do with finding self and the meaning of life. Looking to connect and see what the future brings!

Hi Olga, nice to connect! The Caribe Mexicano is an amazing place, inspiring because of its natural beauty. And a great place to shoot films and series :)
You're staying busy, David Zannoni. Have you ever thought about writing scripts?

Hey David Zannoni nice to meet you. I'm just a simple filmmaker from Slovenia. I've written a couple of features and shot a bunch of shorts, plus some commercials and music videos.
Right now I'm writing a crazy comedy and trying to get another comedy that I've written off the ground. Right now it's actually looking like it might slowly happen, but a lot of work will have to be done before that happens.

Hi, David! I've been working on a project called "Kisses for Ellen" the story of a young Jewish Marine from Coney Island. I have a stack of 400+ letters that were written to and from "Hymie" Silverman that just blew my mind when I read them. They sat in a shed for over 75 years until "Ellen" got ahold of them a few years ago. They range from 1942-1946 and cover his time at Parris Island all the way through the horrors of Iwo Jima. His letters from a foxhole will absolutely haunt you. The title, "Kisses for Ellen", is because Hymie always kept a picture of him and his baby niece in his fatigue pocket. I've held it in my hand, and it was a surreal feeling! Here's the link to a video I produced for what at the time was going to be a podcast. We're shooting higher, and would love to turn it into a film OR a streaming series; the Coney Island family is a treasure. Thanks for your time! https://youtu.be/RnTCabox0rM
I understand, David Zannoni. Can't put too much on your plate.

Thanks for responding, David! Earlier this year, I applied for a Grant from Broward County (FL) Cultural Division to do a 2-hour "Readers Theater" production of "Kisses for Ellen". It's an expanded version of the video I produced. It had about 100 and video and audio cues and was super-well received by the audience of around 70. The YouTube video link will give you a good idea of what I'm shooting for! It's less than an hour. I sincerely appreciate your interest! Here again is the link: https://youtu.be/RnTCabox0rM
