I dedicated my second short film shot in L.A. that year to him. When it screened at the TCL Chinese theaters to a standing ovation, a fellow student saw my dedication to Marc and reached out. Marc's other students wrote "500 Days of Summer, The Hangover, The Wedding Ringer, Olympus Has Fallen" and many others.
