"West is West and East is East and ne'er shall the twain meet ..." But they do meet if one uses strategic image marketing... I was able to make the China connection for JPMChase as one of the first Chinese to appear on a 2-page spread in JPMChase's annual report. As they say ... "A picture is worth a thousand words ... " or in this case... "A stratigically placed photo, with the right image ... is worth a thousand or billions of dollars ..." Thereafter, JPMChase underwrote one of the first multi-billion dollar Chinese government bond offerings with a foreign bank. This was one of the first, if not the first, of many JPMChase muliti-billion dollar underwritings for the Chinese government and private entities.
