The messenger - short film | Philip Paz

My first filmmaking project, I play a marine who experiences death from a new perspective when he is tasked with delivering a difficult message. Depicting the nature of family, duty, and compassion, The Messenger provides a solemn look at the Sergeant's experience in a hospital where he is presented with his own personal dilemma and shows benevolence in the face of death. Retired military veteran and Police Officer Philip Paz directs and stars in the film, teaming up with former costar Jacob Ryan Snovel (Tarsus, Knights of Malice), Retired military veteran Bill Brewer and Briana Mauldin Looby to present this emotional short film with an unexpected ending.
